Interfit Flo-lights 5000k vs. 5600k

I was thinking about getting this 4 light flourescent panel from Interfit.

But it says that the lights that come with it are 5000k and not the standard 5600k. Does it make a big differences? What are the disadvantages of 5000k? Since it's not true daylight, can you shoot with the windows open in daytime?

What if your mix 5000k with 5600k? Say... your key light was 5000k flo and your fill was 5600k. Will that work?

Also, anyone use these Interfit Flo panel lights? They seem to be a good price, but that has bit me in the past.

You could always buy better bulbs for it. Like Kino bulbs and then you know what you are getting for sure. Honestly you could possibly get away with it, it will be a slight bit warmer than your other sources, but depending on where your putting the light and what it is lighting, it might just do the job.

I would probably just spring for the extra bulbs just in case. Better to have and not need, than need and not have.

Just saw these at my local camera store. They're the 4bank cooltubz. What's the consensus on these? I've been looking at coollights. These are super cheap--might be a reason for it. The store won't rent them out, so I can't test them

They're not bad lights. They're not built to take a beating like the Kino's but they're a typical, Chinese four bank fluoro light.

I've got a Savage brand light which is going to be roughly the same as this. Output is the same as the Kino's. We use them side by side.

I've got one I may be selling if you're interested, probably 100 bucks less than this - I've also got an egg crate I built for it. PM me if you're interested.

As far as I know, the higher the color temp, the less different there is as it goes up. Meaning you'd need to go up by a larger number to see an equal difference. So I think the difference between 5000 and 5600 should be very minimal, (not like the difference between 2800k vs 3200k) if you notice it at all.
