Interesting Mic Package - Avantone CK-1 Small Condenser w/3 Caps & Shockmount @ $149
Have been looking around at low-budget microphone packages lately and found this one. There aren't a whole lot of reviews out there on these, but there are some other forums where people have talked about them being quite good. I have yet to find any reviews from folks using it on a boom, however, it seems like it is quite similar to the Oktava MK-012. I went ahead and ordered one and will be posting a review once it arrives...
I didn't get it from this site, but this site shows what it comes with. It's an Avant Electronics Avantone CK-1, small cap condenser and it comes with 3 capsules: carioid, hypercardioid, and omni, as well as a shock mount for $149...

Curious as to whether or not anyone else has used them. According to the other threads these sound quite good and are very low noise.
Anyways, if this turns out to be as good, or nearly as good as an Oktava MK-012, this may be a really nice choice for indie productions on a budget, it's tough to find good, inexpensive hypers.
