Interesting knock off.

That looks pretty nice, I know I wouldn't pay 600$ for it though

Yeah......but gee wiz......it does come with a lifetime warranty :) and from a seller on eBay with a 53 in rating comments!

Good point. I still think you could make one for about 40$. Hopefully one of these crafty DVXusers will create a cheap alternative.

It looks nice. I have no DIY skillz or time, but I always prefer to patronize forum sellers. This is one of those "i'd like to have but don't need" at the moment deals, so i'm gonna wait and see if anyone here starts selling them.

I think you guys are missing something here.

LOOK RIGHT UNDER THE LOGO **AXIS DOLLY***

TRIPOD NOT INCLUDED!!!!!!!

For $600.00 without the tripod head, what a DEAL!!!

I think dj200423 is right, buy the parts and build your own!

No, I think you're missing something. The mini version is $ 6,225 and another 2560 for the accessories.

If you can diy fine, but for me at 600 for the functionality this is a great deal until someone on the forums offers them for a better price. But looking at how much the Rowe dolly kits are and the plethora of 35mm adapters priced above $500, 600 is a deal.

You mean to tell me you would pay $600.00 for that (just a piece of metal, and 6 bearings).

Now if it was $250.00 or so, then I would say yes that's a good deal.

Maybe I'm the one who's missing something here. I understand that having a low center of gravity is important for image stability, but what good is having your shots on the ground? I mean, is there supposed to be a tripod that attaches to the top of it, or do you just need to have a flat surface (like a nice long board with or without track for the wheels) lifted up to a certain height to roll it across? I feel so dumb.

Its a matter of what's your time worth, I need to shoot not be in a machine shop all day. To each his own, but I attempted the diy 35mm craze and it did not come out so great and took a lot of time. I'd pay 6 bills for that before I spend 9 stacks on the P+S.
