INTER-CUTTING video Canon 7D + RED-One ??

In Post Production, would there be any problems inter-cutting video from the RED-One in 2K with video from the Canon 7D ??

Differences, yes. Problems, no.

You will need to choose which resolution you want to author at (I'd recommend 1080P, since you don't want to up scale 7D footage). When you import the RED footage you will need to scale it to fit in the 1080P sequence (in the effects panel).

Thank you very, very much. That video is most helpful, mainly because you can SEE how well the two camera systems cut together.

Do you happen to know what sensor size on the RED-One was used? 2K, 3K, or 4K ??

If you want to intercut those two, you'd want to aim towards using the Canon for closeups and the Red for wide shots. They'll cut much better that way, than if you used the Canon for wides (which is when the lower detail and moire issues can crop up).

Thats good advice Barry....thinking of getting a Canon 5D2 as a second camera to my Ex3.
I want to use it at a family members wedding at christmas.
Certainly a lot cheaper than an EX1R.
