Intensity Pro to ProRes Pulldown Issue

I have footage shot at 24f with an XHA1, and I used an HV20 with HDMI to capture in Final Cut via my Intensity Pro card directly to ProRes 422 HQ.

The problem I seem to be having is that no matter which settings I use in Cinema Tools, I can't seem to remove the pulldown properly. The resulting footage still has some interlacing symptoms, even with a deinterlace filter.

Can anyone shed some light on this scenario?

Well, I can definitely see lines on the original capture footage that weren't fixed with an interlace filter, so I imagine when you HDMI capture, the pulldown isn't automatically removed.

I suspect HDV capture is the only possible way, with this workaround:
