Insurance to rent my camera out?

I was hoping to consult the expertise of the forums about camera insurance. I have an HVX200 and would like to get it to start working for me while I am not using it. Naturally, I want to make absolutely sure that all "i"s are dotted and "t"s crossed before letting it out of my sight.

Does anyone have a good resource for information on renting out your camera to productions. Or perhaps just making sure that a production has the proper insurance to cover your camera? Anybody's experience in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure the company who you are renting to can supply you with a certificate of insurance from their insurance company. If they can't then you will be assuming all the risk. If you rent to individuals without insurance you need to build into the rental price your coverage for the equipment.

It will cost you a lot more to get coverage for rental as opposed for your own use.
