Insurance premium on $20,000 in gear

Can anyone suggest what I should be paying for an annual insurance premium on $20,000 of gear?

I was quoted $750 which seems reasonable since it also includes liability and an additional 20,000 coverage on computer equipment.


But since I do absolutely no business travel and am ONLY interested in theft protection, was hoping I could do a bit better.
 
If you own a home, check with your home insurance company. Through them, I got a rider for $1M liability and $50K work equipment (replacement, home or away) for ~$250/yr total.

Of course huge factors in that are your location and insurance history.
