Insurance for library bathroom?

I am shooting a short, and I scouted out a public restroom at a small public library here in Seattle to use in my short. I have a friend who works there, so he requested permission for us to use their bathroom for about 8-10 hours.
They told him we would need insurance.
Since this is my first attempt at making a film, I have never experienced this aspect. Does anybody know where I could look for insurance for a crew of two people who are probably only using 2 lights in a super-small production?? I don't suppose my renters' insurance covers this?
I really wnated to shoot this weekend, so I am frantically searching for a solution. Thanks!

Insurance, Ive never encountered that after years of filming in seattle. I would ask someone higher than that yourself. Goto the seattle public library website and email them, you probably have to pay for a permit.

I'm sure they're trying to cover themselves by having you get liability insurance in case anything happens to you/crew/actors. They don't want to get hit with a lawsuit.

the insurance isn't for you ..it's for if somebody trips on your cable .. somebody walks into a wall because they were blinded by your lights,
they fall off the toilet because they were distracted by your shooting = they get hurt = they file suit against you & city ...

call up your renters insurance and maybe they'll cover you ?? or ask about a floater to cover you .. NOTE: if this is for profit, if you give points , if in anyway you mentioned profit to anybody then your home insurance will NOT cover you...
i've shot in seattle and everytime they have required insurance if shooting on/in city property - when you take out a permit they'll tell you if insurance is needed for different locations. if the location is NOT city owned then it's up to owner to decide if they want you to have insurance ...

They helped me a while back with coverage for both location property and equipment. If it's the public library, I'm assuming that it's run by the city, so the city government will require you to fill out an application for a film permit (around $25-$50).

There's some red-tape and hoops you may have to jump through, but the total costs should be no more than $200.

Good luck!!
