Hello all,*
I'm shooting my first short soon and I'm not sure how I go about the insurance matter. I'm not a production company. I'm shooting it privately . The film will be submitted to festivals.*
**In this case who will be the ' loss peyee'? *For private property and camera equipment is clear, *will be the owner of the property or rental house.*
**But how do I do the public liability ? ( and do I need one ? I need only *5 sec. MOS shot on the street, which Im planing to shot without permit ) Is it going to be issued on my name since I'm not production company. *Work compensations, how they work?*
**What about the cost. It's going to be 4 day shot in 3 private locations and in my car.*
*The camera which I'm going to rent cost in the range of 40k euro. *If you can share what have you paid , so I can have an idea, will be highly appreciated .
