Insurance certificate.

Do any of you procure insurance certificates in order to obtain Film Permits? If so, where do you get such a policy and what does a $1,000,000. certificate typically cost? I'm trying to conduct my next shoot with a bit more professionalism and jump through all the local municipal hoops so I can have a bit more freedom to occupy public locations and not worry about getting hassled and run off.

For short-term certificates, we've looked at:

It's not cheap; we were quoted $1,700-ish for a 10-day certificate with a $2,000,000 limit.

Call my guy Max. He just insured me for a 16 day shoot for under 1k. 1mil liability. To add a city on a certificate is a bit more but not much. Let him know David Basulto referred you.
