Instant HD for Adobe Premiere

Greetings everyone, (First Posting!)
I recently purchased Instant HD v1.0 for Adobe Premiere 2.0. It's supposed to convert regular DV Footage into HD Footage. I have no experience handling HD Footage so it's been tricky finding the right settings. I imported a 16:9 24p advanced clip (and later a regular 24p clip) into a 720p project and could not get the footage to transfer successfully to HD with this plug-in. I converted to 1240 x 720 and the image stutters on playback. I also tried to export it several times using different methods and could not get a decent clip exported it either looks squashed or extremely fuzzy. I feel like I got made buying this software. Has anyone here had success with it?

Yep, you wasted your money. Doesn't life suck?

Don't be fooled by gimicks that seem too good to be true.

Don't be quite so blunt. If it's any other company I would've say you're right but Instant HD is made by Red Giant whose Magic Bullet product we all know and love. I've seen some decent uprezzed from Instant HD and there are probably more people on here with more experience. Probably just your settings.

i would agree that its likely just your setting for the project, or the plugin. i would check the product instructions, or the red giant site for information on what settings you should be using.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for the tips guys. I also had success uprezing with photozoom but it takes centuries to do. I thought I had found something more practical.
