Maybe we could start a thread of other peoples work that has or continues to be an inspiration in our pursuit of creating 3D images.

Be it 3D models, 2D, matte paintings, drawings, films, bronze and stone sculptures, miniature models or anything else.
Post any links you have and be sure too include the artists credits such as name (date and other as appropriate) or link.

I have always personally liked H.R.Giger.
I'll post a few more links later.

I would like to get a good resource going here from everyone for those times when we/I could use a little inspiration.
 
If you have any input in the future, keep this thread in mind if possible. I'd love to have a sticky for stuff like this to ref on. It is cool stuff. It's amazing stuff.
 
+1. That is talent + skill. Not just on the 3D aspects but also on the directing.
