You guys and your digital stills inspired me so much I went out and got an Olympus evolt 8 megapixel digital slr camera. It came with two lenses 14mm-45mm and a 40mm- 150mm. I am stoked about this cam. I had to work this afternoon late so just got home to a newly charged battery. Now I'm firing off shots of ashtrays, pencils...Anything I can focus on and man I'm blown away by the resolution. You just know I'm going to be uploading stuff soon:)
 
if have any questions i've been using this camera for more than a year and i'll gladly help you out. I'm quite happy with it, olympus' mid to high end range lenses are really impressive.
 
Thanks...My only question so far is regarding battery charging. Can you charge the batt before it's drained or do you have to run it flat before a charge?
 
lithium, so you can charge it whenever. Its good for about 500 shots though, i recently bought a second one for my trip to thailand.
 
Nice. There's more to digital than just the difference between film and a sensor; digital has this whole feedback loop going on. Just like Polaroid backs, only cheaper. :) Enjoy your new cam and we look forward to your pics.
