Insane Greenscreen in CSI: NY

Don't know if anyone saw it last night . . .

There was a prolonged shot at the beginning of the characters walking on the streets of NYC . . . but if you looked carefully, you could see that it was all a beautifully-rendered composite shot. At least you could in HD -- not as sure if it was obvious in SD.

Anyway, it was a sight to behold, especially when they panned the camera around 360 degrees between the characters.

Speaking of process work, does anyone here use Serious' application with or without the virtual sets? If so, what has your experience been?

I just did so. Leaves a pretty clean key, better than you'd get in your NLE or even AE, but 4:1:1 is 4:1:1 no matter how you slice it.

Render time is excellent, though.
