input message on d40

Is there anyway to go back and fix the input message after clicking on the save button? or is this message saved forever? I forgot a letter and no way am I going to use this input thing now - sigh. Anyway to go back and add a letter? Anyway to erase the whole dang thing?

If it is similar to the system on other Nikon cameras then there is not a way to do that.

Then again, you might be able to figure out a work around in Nikon Capture, although I have never tried that.

From what I've read there's only a way to go back to the last letter, but not back to the whole thing. I also noticed, even mentioned on Ken's site, that the d40 over exposes. I'm still working on that.

Thanks, Jer, I got one solid pic today out of the batch. Sun so bright couldn't see my lcd monitor, might have to get a hood.
