Ingesting XDCAM EX Footage

What is the best workflow to ingest xdcam ex tapeless footage from a Sony F3 camera into Adobe Premiere CS 5.5? Is it simply a matter of copying the BRAV foler from aan S x S card to my PC and then using the media brower in Premiere to import the files in that folder to my project, or do I need to download & use the Sony media browser first from their website (XDCAM_Browser_200_Win.zip) to transcode the footage first?
 
I always copy each card entirely, keeping each in its own folder. Then yes, use Premiere's Media Browser. Premiere can edit XDCam EX files natively so no transcoding is necessary or desirable. Sony's software is OK for viewing files on another computer like a laptop.
