Inexpensive news anchor's earpiece?

I am looking for a way to give offstage vocal cues to a very young actor using some sort of earpiece. This way I could feed lines and direction to them without disrupting the whole take with my voice. Something small that could be covered by the actress's hair would work best, not a huge headset. Any ideas? I thought about possibly using a cell phone with a small earpiece for doing this, any other ideas?

Yeah, the 'Interuptable FoldBack' (IFB) earpieces themselves just have a 1/8" connector. B&H, Markertek and other B'cast supply houses sell them. The receivers can be... well anything or HP amps for that matter.
