looks like a very helpful link. thanks.
if you got a second: any backstory here? how did you come to know them? how does their stuff compare to other products on the market?
Um, sorry... I hope you guys have a good sense of humor. Trust me... right now I'm as over-the-top insane about lighting as I normally am about sound.
Those go-easy lights look nice... and the ballasts look good too. Clearly it's good stuff. It looks like everything they make is for T12 tubes. Is that correct? I read the overview page and those ballasts look pretty trick... am I to understand that they can run a T12 tube from just ONE end?
I admire their stuff, but I don't think we're after the same users... and what I'm doing is totally different. I don't think the same guy that considers their stuff is going to consider mine... or vice versa.
And you don't want to pay 5% less? I like their build better than Kino FLo. They are not made out of cardboard but weigh the same. But even better, if you want to use just a tube say for a tight shot, you don't need the fixture. Just take the tube out and plug in one end of the florescent and you've got light. If anything, at least one of their well built transformers should be in every kit.
Walter - what kind of mounting brackets do the go-easy lighting fixtures use? Also I'm assuming you can use Kino Flo's splitter and combiners with these ballasts and fixtures if the event calls for it?
