With the high cost of anything associated with movie making including cases...for that cherished equipment we have a suggestion that is easy on the wallet. We never would have thought about these as we stumbled across them--golf bag cases. They hold a good amount of equipment and are very sturdy--enough to withstand baggage handlers at the airport. We have two that house our light and green screen stands, tripods, etc. An inexpensive rifle case holds our Steady Tracker. We found these at Academy Sports & Outdoors. Hope these photos give you an idea! When we started pricing 'film equipment' cases we discovered most of them start at around $150 for a small case. We've spent around $200 at Academy and bought enough cases (including pistol cases that are perfect for all sorts of smaller equipment) for transporting everything - not much more than the cost of one case. But these golf cases were, at least for us, a real find! Oh, yes, and they LOCK!
