Indoor projector

I didnt really know where to post this so here it is.

I am looking for a projector that can be used at a trade show indoor with lights on. Are there projectors that are bright enough or is there some type of encasing i could buy to slap around the screen to make it darker? Maybe i shouldnt even go with a pojector rather a falt panel lcd or something. I have a budgest of around 2,500 for a screen and a projector (or I guess some alternative option) and need some recommendations. The screen should be as big as psossible for the budget. I was thinking around 100"

There are plenty of projectors that are bright enough but with a 100" screen you are going to need quite a throw distance to fill your screen and I find space is is usually limited at a trade show assuming your setting up in a booth. You can get short throw lenses but that would drive the cost up. A large plazma or lcs flat flat panel would maybe work better for you. Otherwise, a 2000 to 5000 lumen proj should do OK with room lights on on an 8' tripod screen 96" though a six foot may do the trick also. It really depends on your space and how many people you have viewing the screen at one time. Hope this helps a bit.

This little fella for example may be what you need

You didn't say if this was a budget for purchase or rental?

LCD would probably be better if you're going on the road as plazma's tend to be fussy shippers as I understand though you could research that, seems to me they need to be standing up at all times as oposed to being laid down.
