I need some advice for a quick 1 hour shoot for my documentary which takes place in an indoor swimming pool.
I'll only be using the available (crap) fluorescent lighting that is there. I can't set up any lights and the color scheme is only baby blue tiles - pool, floor deck, and walls. So you see it's
going to be a problem. I'm shooting in 24P advance on a DVX
100A. I am looking for advice from anyone who has shot in this same type of environment. What settings in the camera should I adjust to to deal with the lighting and what shutter speed would you recommend. I have no control over the subjects in the pool and they might be splashing a little bit,
not much because it's a water excercise class for elderly
people. I'll be shooting for close ups as well as wide shots
to cover almost the entire pool. Any tips would be helpful,
thanks. Is there any hope in capturing a nice picture with
depth and color?
