Indifocus Upgrade Problem?

Hi!

I own an old Indifocus and got the gear box upgrade, the new handle and a new gear...

now I can't screw the allen screws inside the threads for the screws on the gear and the handle... how can this be possible?

i also tried with force and broke the allen screw of the one for the gear, its stuck and i ordered a new one

so that it not happens again, does anyone know if i am doing something wrong or do i have to widen the thread with something first??

Hmm, all the hex screws are smooth on mine... I would call Tim.
