Every month FITC hosts a Film Networking Cocktail Reception including special VIP Guests from the Film Industry. This is a new film salon series which brings together the downtown Indie crowd from the film community.

The FITC "Fabulous Indie Nights” events are by invitation only - featuring directors,screenwriters, actors, producers, and film industry guests. As this city has become the center for the independent filmmaking explosion, interest in this burgeoning scene has driven a wide range of professionals to want to work in the film industry. Film in the City inaugurated "Fabulous Indie Nights," a monthly networking and speaker series on
the film industry

The event series will consists of a Cocktail Networking Reception and Q&A with various VIP guests. Fabulous Indie Nights is a special program designed to offer filmmakers an intimate, one – on – one film forum discussion on independent film releases, featuring a cocktail networkin reception.

I checked for cancellations and they said they didn't have any. But if you e-mail them, they'll throw you on their mailing list. But give it a shot. Maybe by now someone has dropped out. They said they had over 500 people going.
