Hi everyone, this is My first posting here, so I hope it counts!
Apologies in advance if someone has already posted the link, but I haven’t seen it here yet. (I hope this business section is the right one for this)
There was an interesting programme broadcast this Saturday on BBC radio4 here in Britain, dealing with film financing, (from the investor’s perspective) briefly touching on tax breaks in the US and here, with particular emphasis on the ways that some independent film-makers secure backing for a project.
It’s only a half-hour prog., so is fairly limited on detail, but will certainly be an interesting listen for those of Us new to this area of indie production.
The programme;
‘Alvin Hall’s world of money - (film)’ is available as a podcast from the series homepage;

Cheers.
