Does anyone know of a good rental house in hollywood that carries the Indie Dolly? I have a MV shoot this weekend would love to try one out before I buy one. Any comments on the dolly are welcomed also. Thanks! 8)
Hi,
Just bought the straight kit, and works great! The track segments are scissored together--wasn't very obvious to me how to unfold them, but the website was a big help (no paper instructions were provided). One track segment would not insert fully into another, though; i'm confident it's just a matter of turning the tensioning screw, but I don't have the proper tool (no, turning tool not provided). Otherwise, it's 40lbs (not as light as a microdolly), but the action is smooth and overall feels like a finished product. One last note: the weight limit is 150 lbs.
