Indie-Arms Lands First Major Gig!

I have been keeping this under my hat, and doing a bit of work behind the scenes on this, but I got the confirmation today!!!!!!!!

Indie-Arms has just landed a major gig with a big production! Set in the future, I had to come up with uniforms and weapons that reflected that timeline and the "look" the director wanted. The producer saw "Gig", and that's what got Indie-Arms the chance to step up into the big leagues. So, never doubt what doing "free" work can get you!

Apparently, I nailed it. It's a one day gig, but apparently this is a BIG feature! A city's Civic Center is getting shut down, and explosion, crowds, etc. I am providing the 6 man Tactical team, their props/training and uniforms.

Attached is what we will be wearing:

It's now Weds. Night. Shoot is Sunday. Starting to get all packed up and inventoried for the shoot. Man, Tac-Gear and weapons for 7 (got another person added to the team) is bulky!

Filled my Large Pelican Case (biggest available commercially) and it now weighs well over 150 pounds, my small case for the pistols, now 15 pounds. One hard rifle case for Big Bertha (M249 SAW) My personal Tac-gear bag (30 pounds), and a cardboard box for tools, goggles, radios, throat mics, earbuds and all the mags for the guns.

The rifles will be unpacked tomorrow, so I can finish modding them for that futuristic look.

In the past two days I have made some amazing contacts for vendors! One is going to sell all me all his broken prop guns at 10.00 a pop (he has about 200) Another is going to sell me comm gear for pennies on the dollar (broken, but I don't need it to actually work for film).

Indie-Arms is definitely going to be expanding and rivaling the big weapon houses soon. Now only if the industry would pick up.............
