indi Focus Pro - experience with 35mm adaptors

Has anyone used the new indifocus Pro ? They have a bundle where you get the follow focus and gears you can add to 35mm slr lenses...the original model is called classic and although cheap i read reviews that said you got what you paid for. They say on the site that they addressed the problems...but i haven't seen any new reviews...i'm curious to know if anyone has bought the bundle and used the gears on slr lenses with their 35mm adaptor and what they thought.

bueller ?

anyone ?

Look harder through this forum. There are a number of people who have reported that the new indiFOCUSpro is much, much better than the first version.

I just got my indiFOCUSpro last week and considering how little it costs, it is a great product. Of course I have also used a Chroziel FF and the indiFOCUS doesn't come close. Depends on what you want to spend and what your needs are.

I was considering the IndiFocus, but with all the great reviews on the Redrock I ended up with that unit. I've used the RR many times and I love it to death.

I'm getting ready to order my FF and have been doing circles on whether to order the new indie focus pro Or spend the extra cash, but the only beef I keep reading on the posts lately is about the whips not being industry standard. My only concern really is do the gears Pull, and does the whip that you can order for it work? Herbal what says you on your experience with your set up?

I just ordered indifocus's 12" whip and will let you know how it goes once i receive it.

whip works well, crank works well, indifocus works well. no complaints here.

soft donut is the friction wheel. This is the what the original indifocus used. It allows you to circumnavigate the need for a lens gear. It drives the focus ring by itself. It does not perform as efficiently as a gear driven followfocus.

Your indifocus should have come with a little plastic bag that had two silver clamps. These are hardstops that can fixed to the white areas of your focus wheel.

Actually, it did not come with the clamps you mentioned. Just a normal screw in the bracket over the wheel. Maybe I need to contact the good folks at IndiFocus...
