Increasing your cam's native MBPS

I was watching a review of the F3 and the reviewer mentioned that while the camera is native at 35mbps, one could add a "nano" feed on the back of the camera and could record at 50 or 100 or even 200mbps.

Could someone elaborate on this?

Thanks!

Interesting. Is there any reason to believe that an increased mbps recording rate would do anything to help with nighttime noise levels, etc? Or is that a sensor-specific issue?

Thanks again

like i said it gives you arguably better quality. Some people swear by them and some say there's barely a difference. I haven't had a chance to work with an external recorder personally so i can't comment on that. Search around the forum because many people have a lot of experience with them here.
