increasing file size allowance in Vegas Pro 9

I currently use GoPro HD in car camera's in my desert racing footage. I have noticed that if the file size is above 1 GB or so it doesn't allow it to be drag and dropped into the timeline. Can anyone assist me with how I can increase the file size allowance in VP9? Thanks for any information you guys/gals can offer!

I have no idea what you're talking about. Practically every file I deal with in VP9 is over 15GB. 1Hr of video off my EX1 is almost 16GB.
