I am not sure what is going on with my system if anything but I am noticing longer render times (orange bar) and the same for exporting short video clips to be used over in Motion. The clips were treated in FCP which is understandable (effects added). I do a lot of editing with FCP and have noticed longer render times for some reason. When I go to export, I am noticing the same thing. Just now it took almost 15 minutes to export a 20 second clip and I didn't save it as a self contained movie file either! There is something wrong with that picture.
Perhaps I need to add more RAM to my system. No other applications was running and only had 1 sequence opened at the time of render and export. Right now I am only running 2.5 gb of ram. I have 4 gbs waiting to be installed and I am going to get more to max it out soon.
