Inconsistent Compressor Render Times

Hello,

Not sure if anybody else has experienced this, but I'm currently using compressor to export a NTSC DV video file to DVCPROHD60 and upon my first attempt, the file got to about 90% in 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I ran out of hard drive space and the export failed. I tried loading up the file again, all of the same settings, and am now looking at render times pushing 30 hours.

Am I missing something here? Can anyone think of a reason why there would be such varying render times with the same file/settings? I've actually experienced this before and could never figure out any rhyme or reason to it.

Any suggestions would be great.

Compressor often initially shows a very high render time that quickly goes down after a few minutes of rendering. Did you actually get 30 hour estimated render times after 5 or 10 minutes? If not, try letting the render run for a while and see if the projected time goes way down.
