Just watched Incident At Loch Ness, shot mostly on a DVX100. Have to say I was pretty impressed, especially when it intercut between the 16mm camera and the DVX footage. To be honest (and baring in mind it was a DVD) there wasn't really a whole lot of difference in look between the film sections and the DVX sections.
The DVD was in fact leant to me by the gaffer of the film James Gilligan. He said he was amazed at the quality the camera managed to produce when it was blown up to film and projected. Did anyone on these forums manage to see the production in a cinema at all and could comment on what they thought of the picture quality?
Its well worth a rent if you see it. Very funny, and although it is a mockumentary some of the siatuations I can well imagine happening if a Hollywood crew decided to make a documentary!
