Rented it from blockbuster tonight and just got done watching it! Great PD150 Footage, i loved this movie. The story the picture and well just everything!!! I didn't like the scene were they cut the cows head off. to graphic for me(funny that i can watch romero films and not get groosed out like i just did with the cow) Mabye because the cow scene was real. I do have one question about this film...

on most films shot with the My Camera(PD150) like this one do editors/directors keep the footage interlaced or do they deinterlace it? This film looked like they keeped it interlace in some spots.

I think there was a post saying not to reply to any topics you start, but this seems genuine enough so I'll bite.

I haven't seen the DVD so I can't say, but chances are that it was converted to 24p, then put onto film, then put on to DVD from film. They may have gone from the 24p digital footage straight to DVD, but I doubt they'd use the original interlaced footage on the DVD. Chances are that you're just seeing 3:2 pulldown interlace artifacts. Play the DVD back on your computer and you may be able to see better if it's interlaced or progressive. There's software which says the exact frame rate of DVD footage, but I don't have it nor know how to get it really.
