In stock.

wooow when i saw the words in stock i got so excited since my dad said he would help me pay for a gh1 if i ever found one available. -.- i dont think hed want to pay 2000 just for a camera...

this is spam!

No, it is not spam. If you want one and can afford it go ahead and buy it. If not then wait a couple of months (hopefully) and buy it at regular price. Sadly this is capitalism 101, supply and demand. The price is not in mexican pesos, 2,499.00 pesos translates to 190 us dlls.

No one should have to pay $2,499... if anyone really wants a GH1, send me a PM. I'll bring one to your door step for $1,499,000.

Oh, I have a bridge to sell too.

No one except the whole of Australia, according to Panasonic. RRP here is AU$3200. That is US$2687.

Hope nobody pays that price, jeeZ
I paid 3,000.00 AUD = 2,510.49 USD. It's all relative. Must be at least ten years back that I paid 2,500.00 GBP = 4,183.34 USD (now) for my Sony VX9000, which seems pretty crude in terms of picture quality compared to the GH1 (many nice functional things though).

People can just wait for reputable deals from reputable vendors. This time last week there were ones from Crutchfeld for 1500... and there will be a bunch more popping up over the next weeks and months.

I say forget that BS and be on the look-out for a good deal from an authorized dealer..... Forget the BS, cause calling it capitalism is another nice way of saying it's gouging... and thankfully when shipments are available then these places won't be able to do this crap anymore.
