Space is no different from any other environment (Jungle, North Pole, Apartment Bedroom). You can put it in the slug line, but you certainly don't need to. What's happening in the scene? We'll get 'space' if the character(s) is doing 'space' things.
If it were a jungle instead of space you may write that the character wields a machete and wears sweaty khakis. Depending on the story, you might want to include an establishing shot of planets, a comet, space monkeys, whatever. Good luck.
