Hey guys,
I'm graduating from Full Sail in June of this year and I'm starting to think about creating an editing demo reel and I need some help. Before I get into anything specific here are some of the varying projects I'm trying to include in the reel, motion graphics, film editing, logo creation, as well as a few music videos. Overall I'm just having a difficult time deciding which clips to put in and in what order. Would you suggest lifting a chunk from a short film and placing it in there, or just a variety of cuts from the film. As for the music videos, is it acceptable to lay a score under the music video and disregard the original music the artist is singing, or is there a better alternative? Any advice regarding length, music choice, or common pitfalls to avoid would be a great help.
