in-camera effects and supers

The last shot... I see mirrors, the projection, but there are out of focus things in foreground... are those like clear plastic pipes or something? It seemed like there was a wall of semi-transparent objects.

A dark corner with 3 see-through surfaces and a prism that allows the projection to scatter around.

The only negatives, hate to mention as it's already been raised but the spelling mistake is unfortunately not one that slips by easily as so many do. The second, perhaps a personal gripe on my part was the music. It was good, polished and appropriate but for me as expected and obvious as the contents of a hallmark card. It reminds me of the music they play in the sob story part of an infomercial right before they introduce the product and pricing (only 8 monthly payments of 39.95!). But then I tend to shy from sentimentality and 'triumph of the human spirit' notions at the best of times. This isn't something I'd be interested in seeing for those reasons but I thought the scripting, cinematography, compositing and editing were all excellent (excepting those two points) and enjoyed the trailer.

Incidentally the reason why the music was picked was specifically because it didn't fully spell out the 'triumph of the human spirit.' As me too i prefer the see glass as half empty. So i guess we are loosing each other in translation.

Take a look at it on everything you can get your hands on; ie. phones, home theatre with projector, LCD, LED, Plasma, TV, DVD, Blue Ray, etc... You've got a living thing there on your hands now. Good luck with it.

We are updating sound mix because of just this issue... Sounds great in most circumstances but there are a few speakers that show that we over did with sound mix.

Amazed by this. Every single shot was compelling and thought-provoking. Would watch movie on the basis of trailer, imagery, quality of footage. Am curious about their stories.

If it's a trailer for investors, perhaps should include something about stories of other three artists.

Am fine with music choice.

Absolutely loved that streak of light on her spine, and loved the slit of light with the blind filmmaker, but it does feel slightly repetitive that similar technique was used with both.

Don't like title or blurb. Put off by sentimentality in them.

Probably "visual artist" instead of "visual-artist". May need an editor (of the words kind) to look over text before filming...

This piece is to accompany a presentation (either in person or through written words) so it was more important to show a "whole" piece. Neither me or 2 of my partners are in love with the title. As a matter of fact the whole last part (the blurb and title) is "just" visual candy without much meaning - which drives me crazy as every other image had a though behind it... Sometimes you just have to do the best withing the circumstances.

Also, both spelling mistakes are fixed now - will post the link some time tomorrow.
