Accountant has recommended I form an LLC, and that requires choosing a process agent. But they only give circular definitions, "a process agent is an agent who..." WHAT is one? A lawyer?
Haven't heard the term, but we're using an entertainment lawyer to process our Llc. I believe there's several other options available online as well, to do it yourself, a cheaper but riskier route (from what I hear). Good luck.
This is usually a person who you designate to be served with papers if the corp or lllc is sued. I've only seen this used if you are incorporating in a state other than where you are located. but each state has different requirements.
