in 8 but not in 9

In Vegas Pro 8.0a I was able to put my mouse arrow over the file in my time line and it would give me the file code - 009BG.MXF, 056KT.MXF etc... This made it easy for me so I didn't pull the same footage from my main file. But now in 9.0d it doesn't work. I'm sure there somewhere I can make it work on this?
 
Yes, I noticed that too, but in 9 it's much better. Go to "View" and select "Active Take Information". Shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+I. You'll notice that having the file code (displayed in the top right hand corner of the file in the timeline) provides a lot more better and less messier workflow. You no longer get random popups when you rollover. Hope this helps.
