Importing With DVX100B

ok, so iv got a DVX100b (just got it) and im wondering if its ok to import on it.

obviousley you are able to, but is it bad to put all thouse extra hours on the heads? and

i cant afford a tape deck (i dont think...) and ummm what should i do is it bad for the

camera if i import alot? or is it just... fine? :Drogar-Shock(DBG):
 
i tried to import a 30 second clip and my dvx burst into flames within a matter of seconds. so yes, importing does hurt the dvx, in so much as an inanimate object can feel pain.. fortunately you can get it repaired if you have a warranty, but the emotional scars still remain.

many people try to avoid such an explosion by purchasing a cheap camera to avoid wearing down the heads. because everyone knows that one cannot survive without a head.
