We sent a scene to the post production company by exporting it in tif files. Now how can I convert the tif files back to an AVI scene and get it back on the timeline?

I can import the tif images but I can't place the separate images on the timeline one at a time. It would take way too much time. And if I highlight all the tif files and just drop them on the timeline esach image will be spread over many frames and that still won't do.

Actually you can import it as a movie file as opposed to bring it all at once. Choose File > import. Find the first numbered tiff file and select numbered stills and click open. Premiere will interpret this as single frames of video clip. Trust me I've done this several times. I even made a tutorial on it on my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/user/mmka1985. Look for the tutorial labeled images sequences. Also the instructions I gave you are straight from the Adobe help page
