importing still photo

Hi

I important a still image and used the pan feature to zoom and pan. but in the preview window there are vertical black bars on either side. The other footage was shot with a trv900 and shows no such bars. What's going on and is there a way to fix it?

Im not sure I understand your question. But...

try this...

Right click on image (in timeline) select PROPERTIES and UNSELECT the "maintain aspect ratio" BOX.

Open Pan/Crop, right-click the image on the Pan/Crop screen, and choose "Match Output Aspect".
