I've been working on a project for several months. I went to upload some sound files into an event like I always do, but this time I'm having some problems and I have no idea what is going on.
I have an SD card with 3 folders of WAV files. I created 3 events and tried to import the files into the corresponding events. When I was finished I removed the card and shut down the program. Next time I went into FCP X two of the three events had yellow triangles with exclamation marks inside of them and all of the sound files in the event were just blank red boxes. Thankfully I didn't erase the card so I tried uploading the audio files again. Now when I go to import files and choose the selected audio tracks nothing happens. If I create a new event I am able to upload the files but if I close down FCP X and remove the card the same thing happens - all red boxes. One of the three folders seems to be fine and I have no idea why I can use use those files and not the others and why I cannot import any audio files into these other events.
The SD card does not seem to be corrupt. I can transfer the files to my hard drive and listen to them and they are fine. And these are the same file types I've been using for months and the exact same process I've used dozens of times. It's just super frustrating that now there seems to be this problem when I am doing nothing different. Any help on the situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
