Importing Slow Motion (720 60p from 7D) into 1080 24p project

Hey there,
In Final Cut Pro I'm editing 7D footage that is all 1080 24p with the exception of some 720 60p footage I shot to have slow motion. My question is, what steps do i need to take in order to bring this 720 60p footage in to my 1080 24p project correctly for slow motion?
 
Log and transfer in FCP. Open files in Cinema Tools and conform to 23.98. Hey presto slow motion files in FCP. You can put 720p in a 1080 timeline without problems in FCP7.
 
hey Ian- i typically convert to pro-res before i bring in the files to work with... should i convert to pro-res, then bring into cinema tools? also, any reason why i should conform to 23.98 as opposed to 24?
