Importing Protected Audio

I purchased a song from Itunes, which I will likely never do again, and I am not allowed to import it into FCP. I want to use it for a HOME VIDEO and I can't. Does anyone know of any way to remove the copyright or a workaround for this.

Well it is actual very simple if you take the song and burn it to a regular music CD and then rip it again using itunes your new file will have no copy right on it.

I didn't tell you how to do that if anyone asks

What he means is make an Audio CD from iTunes ... you can burn a playlist onto CD as an Audio CD... then rip it.

But remember -- you are still responsible for doing this with all legal intent.

I am going to try it again and I hope it works...I am only using it in a home movie with my cousins, it is legal.

I'm not saying not to do it but technically that isn't legal. Buying the song does not give you synchronization rights of any sort. However it is a bit like crossing a residential street. That is still technically "Jwalking" but.....
