I am running Final Cut Pro 6.0.4, and am importing from a Canon XH-A1.
My A/V Settings are as follows:
Now after about 5 min of importing, the camera stops and Final Cut starts to load the footage, then just crashes. I look at my capture scratch folder and there is an unrecognizable file that won't play.
I am importing to a 1TB G-Tech External HDD via FW800.
I am not running anything except for Final Cut.
My Computer Specs are as follows:
Can anyone tell me if there is something I am doing wrong? Or why this is happening?
