importing photoshop fonts

You have fonts in PS that don't show up in FCP? Something's not right. Fonts are fonts, they're in the system. What specific font do you have that shows up in PS and not FCP? I bet it's an old bit map font or something. I forget what FCP's limit is on fonts, only truetype or something like that. Anyone have more info?

the font i wanted was called mesquite or something, it has an old west feel.

I've been typing in photoshop and importing jpegs into FCP, but i can't really do that certain things

Some types of fonts only show up in bitmap type programs such as Photoshop and some only show up in text programs such as word.

Use the font book app to get more info.
