Importing Photos

I'm making a very short stop-motion video in FCP using about 500 photos that I have in
I-photo. Now here is the question, is there some speedy way I can import the files (from I-photo into FCP) so that they are converted to 720x480 pixels at 72 dpi?

I dont care if the edges of the photos get trimmed during the conversion.

If you have OSX 10.4, make an Automator script to handle it. It was designed to do stuff like that.
