My DV footage was recorded in PAL Widescreen (Squeeze mode) using the DVX100A camera, and I now want to import various digital still photos within the project which is being edited using PremierePro.
The still photos are all manipulated in Photoshop CS and the original files are either 2048 x 1536 pixels or 2464 x 1632 pixels depending on the camera I used.
Can anyone advise me how I can ascertain the correct size to CROP these files to, so that after importation to PremierPro they will be displayed without distortion as a full widescreen image when played back.
From tests I have carried out, it seems to be a compatibility issue between the way the pixels are manipulated in the two programs, but for the life of me, I can't fathom out how to resolve the problem. Anyone got any suggestions?
