Importing HVX p2

Somehow I have version 5.0 running on my macbook, I am really not sure how, It's says 5.0 in the about final cut section. I thought you couldn't even install 5.0 on the intel macs?

Any way I can not get it to import the p2 footage shot from the HVX it says the clips could possibly be corrupt, this happens no matter what I do.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
